Category 31 | This record by Harvey Connell is an excellent medium fast teen crossover doowop piece from Ohio, the year was 1962. In 2004 I heard from a man who actually recorded music with Harvey in his studio in Columbus Ohio in the mid 1960's, a few years after this record. The studio did not make any money, according to him,so it was closed down. Harvey later owned a bar and lived in Mount Vernon Ohio. |

The group performed at the Peppermint Lounge and the Wagon Wheel in New York City, according to one of the group members who emailed me in 2006. Ray Davis died young, passed away from cancer in the 1960's. |
